Last month things were fine.
This month they’re not.
We can help.

Somerset Crisis and Resilience Alliance
The Somerset Crisis and Resilience Alliance is a partnership bringing together local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations to provide joined-up support for people in financial crisis or those who are at risk of financial crisis. The multi-year programme is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions through a grant to Somerset Council. The Alliance is led by Citizens Advice Somerset.
The Alliance exists to respond quickly when someone is in a financial crisis and to provide in-depth advice and support to help people manage through and recover from a financial crisis or avoid one if they are at risk. Somerset Frontline is our shared front door to get support.

Crisis payments and help
Help is available for residents experiencing an unexpected financial shock or a financial crisis and who are having difficulty affording everyday essentials (food, fuel, heating oil, essential household items), or rent/council tax help.

One to one support
We can connect you with free debt advice, a benefits check, other income maximisation options, wellbeing support or other community services that can help in the longer term.
